In week 9, I finished my report completely by adding a few final touches to it - attempting to make it look a little better. I then started my invitation for the staff and governors at school, I haven't managed to finish it yet, hopefully next week i'll be able to, Mr Gill told us to take our time on it, which i'm doing anyway, He gave me a few ideas to make it look for someone of that age, e.g. I started it off by saying "You're cordially invited". And by also including that there will be champagne and cocktail.

Week 8
In week 8, we started using the database we made and had to make 3 queries, I made an educational, leisure and amusement trips - near or in London, I made a few silly mistakes such as saving it in forms rather than queries. After I had finished my queries we had to make a report for each one to make it look good and simpler for someone to use/look at. I managed to finish it all. My favourite part was designing.

Week 7
In week 7, we looked at the topic - database, It was slightly challenging because we had to make one of our own (using a video tutorial). I got most of it done with no problems and had enough time to help other people. We also had to look at the key things about a database - the records and fields. Before we had to make our own database, we had to make an example, just to understand how it works. There was alot of information in the database, our task was to make it simpler, so the user cannot see all the information, only the simpler database we showed.

Week 7
In week 7 we started to do our trips report, I had a few problems and Mr gill came and helped me. I managed to finish everything quickly. I spent the rest of my time seeing if i had done it correctly as i wasn't sure, Mr Gill pointed out some problems in my chart - I hadn't labeled them! I fixed them. I also struggled slightly through the trips report, but I got through it. I spent the rest of my time helping Afza.

Week 6
In week 6, we finished off our spreadsheet of our survey results, I managed to finish it but had a slight problem with the code, Mr.Gill helped me and showed how to write out the code, and after that I had no problems at all with the spreadsheet. After I had finished the spreadsheet, I then began making graphs for the results so then I could compare the choices with the boys and girls, and how the more educational trips were rated then the less educational ones.

Week 5
In week 5, We started making our own spreadsheet to record the survey results, It took me a while to get started - I think it was the first time I made my own spreadsheet because in year 8 and 7, We had a spreadsheet already made, I got the hang of it after a while when Mr.Gill helped me and told me how to make a table for the spreadsheet. I enjoyed making my own spreadsheet, and I wouldn't mind doing it again. I also colour coded mine to make it easier Pink if it's a girl and Blue if it's a boy.

Week 4
In week 4, we finished off making our emblems, I was extremely pleased with myself and thought I put my effort into each logo, I also won a prize for keeping up a successful project, Which gave me more confidence in this project because it was telling me that I was on track, which I was unsure about, we then started filling in our surveys (5 people had to do the survey), I had no trouble doing it, It was done quite quick and I managed to get it filled in quickly.

Week 3
In week 3, we started making our emblems which represent both countries, This is the part of the project I like because I find it fun designing stuff e.g Layouts and logos. Although it is quite hard thinking of what to do especially when you want to make it really creative, I hope I come up with something unique.

Week 2
In week 2, we started making our plan, It was slightly challenging at times because I either had too much time left or I went over the time limit, I still have more time left in most of them, I shall change it as I go along this project. Even though I found it challenging I thought It was quite fun at the same time because I like challenging stuff. We also filled in the student information file e.g How many girls and boys there will be. I chose to do India because I know a little about the country and I find this part quite easy because we mostly had to just fill in things of our choice e.g. what country we will be choosing. We also had to do a little bit of research such as: who is the priminster of that country? And also what language they speak.

Week 1
In week 1, firstly we started to follow instructions for us to get started e.g. What link to save as favourites and what documents we needed to create. We then had to read through the project brief and answers questions on it to find out more about what we were going to do, at first it took me a while to understand but now I understand what's it all about, what you need to think about and what you need to work on. I tried my best to finish everything to get better marks, I know theres going to be more challenging work later on - which I enjoy. I like challenging work rather than easy to be honest. We then had to create our project plan because before you start any project you need to start planning. I honestly don't like planning because I find it quite boring especially filling in the tasks.
